Zacoe redefines modern BMW M2 with a styling upgrade
August 21, 2024
Überblick
A highly desirable Ford GT40 MkII made in 1965 for the following year’s 24 Hours of the Le Mans race will cross the auction block in late February expected to fetch U.S. $8–11 million.
According to the seller, the car is one out of only eight of its kind built by Ford for the 1966 Le Mans marathon. That year is forever imprinted in the minds of all racing enthusiasts worldwide as the year when Ford claimed the entire pedestal and completely dethroned Ferrari.
$11 million is the highest any Ford GT40 has ever sold in history. If this one manages to attract a higher bid than that, it will set a new record.
