In January 2020, Mecum Auctions will auction off one of the eleven vehicles built specifically for the 2000 movie Gone in 60 Seconds.
The car in question is the Eleanor Mustang that appeared on-screen in the Los-Angeles River, City, and Docks chase scenes. Created by Cinema Vehicle Services based on a vintage 1967 Mustang, it sports a GT500 Pepper Grey Metallic theme and packs extra lighting along with new wheels.
Inside, the back seats are lower than stock, the pedal pads are made of aluminum, the steering wheel is wooden, and the tachometer stems from Auto Meter. Powering the restomod is a 5.8-liter V8 linked to a five-speed manual gearbox.
Among other things, this particular Mustang sports an extensive suspension upgrade from Total Control Products, an MSD ignition system, Wilwood brakes, and a functioning nitrous oxide system (+100 hp / +75 kW).
The price remains unannounced.
