PaxPower brings 350HP Ford Ranger Lariat FX4 to SEMA

The PaxPower tuner team came to the SEMA show with an extensively customized Ford Ranger Lariat FX4 made to look like the F-150 Raptor and boosted to 350 hp (261 kW). Care for a glimpse?

The radiator grille, wide fenders, bulky metallic front apron and LED bar – none of this is aftermarket fare; instead, the tuner strips the parts off the original Raptor. The same applies to the towing hook and the underchassis protection.

The suspension, on the other hand, is based on the Baja Prerunner kit and notably includes stiffer springs and adjustable racing-spec shock absorbers. The show car rides on 17-inch ICON wheels wrapped in Toyo Off-Road tires.

Finally, as stated above, the engine receives a boost from its stock 210 hp (157 kW) to 350 hp (261 kW). This is mainly achieved via a chip tune by SCT Performance and a complex upgrade of the intake system, including a cold-air supply unit, a new intercooler, and more.

The pricing remains unannounced, but we expect a Ford Ranger Lariat FX4 tuned as extensively as this to cost around U.S. $65,000. The sad thing is, you can get a full-fledged F-150 Raptor for a comparable amount.
