Hyundai-owned premium car brand Genesis has shared some new images of its facelifted G80 sedan. A sports trim has also been revealed, but a more powerful engine was never mentioned.
The car still has its recognizable twin-stripe headlights and the pentagonal grille at the front, but the insides of both look new. The front bumper appears slightly more aggressive, while the rear one no longer has imitated exhaust tips in it. The buyers can opt for new exterior finish options and bigger 20-inch wheels.
The G80 had a Sport trim version before the facelift, too (see video). Compared to it, the new one has different bumpers, a new rear diffuser and blacked-out trim all around.
The interior has been reimagined with a more level-looking, laconic dashboard and a 27-inch monoblock display coming to replace the multiple standalone screens. The transmission tunnel has also been simplified with new selectors on it, and the HVAC control panel has been redesigned. Rounding off the changes is a new steering wheel, which is different in the Sport trim.
Other than that, no technical specifications have been revealed yet. Genesis promises to reveal more info closer to the sales launch, but that date also remains unknown.
