Genesis G90 begins conquering North America with Los-Angeles

The facelifted 2020 Genesis G90 luxury sedan/saloon just debuted at the LA Auto Show. The model will become available in North America as early as next month, so let us see what it is all about.

Compared to its predecessor, the new G90 boasts a larger radiator grille, reworked front fenders and hood, and rectangular headlights with integrated DRLs. The rear end sports updated brake lights, a built-in spoiler, and dual exhaust tips. 19-inch wheels with soundproofing are available at a premium.

The cabin has changed notably less than the exterior. Perhaps the largest update concerns the infotainment system, which now boasts a 12.3-inch infotainment display, supports apps and OTA updates. The driver aids include lane control, park assist, and reverse assist.

When the Genesis G90 hits the showrooms throughout the USA in December, it will offer a choice between a 3.3-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine (365 hp / 272 kW) and a 5.0-liter V8 (420 hp / 313 kW). Both link to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
