Premium vehicle manufacturer Genesis has established a new sub-brand called Magma and will be releasing a performance SUV under it named the GV60. While still a concept at this moment, the car will eventually go on sale featuring a sporty exterior, upgraded suspension and probably also stronger powertrain options.
On the exterior side of things, the Genesis GV60 Magma flaunts a revised body kit and has large air intakes meant to keep the powertrain cool while simultaneously helping with downforce. Installed parts include fender flares, a rear diffuser and a tailgate spoiler.
The interior is trimmed with leather and Alcantara in a distinct orange/Titanium Grey combo. The bucket seats are new, too.
Genesis promises a wider wheel span for the GV60, low clearance and enough thrust for “impressive acceleration.”
Along with the GV60 Magma, the company has also previewed a crossover named the GV80 Coupe and a new G80 sedan. It also shed some light on the X Gran Berlinetta, a prototype racecar.
The whole Magma vehicle lineup seen here will soon be introduced to the audience of the New York International Auto Show.
