The currently available Haval H6 Coupe (see video) uses the same platform as the first-gen H6 SUV and sports the same updates as the second-gen H6. In fact, high shoulder line and slightly slanted roof are all it has to show for being a “Coupe SUV”. Judging by the recently leaked pics, things are finally going to change in the new generation.
The car looks every bit as tall as the SUV it is based upon (1,730 mm), but its rear window is much more slanted than before. The second seat occupants can still enjoy a tall roofline like before.
The coupe-like utility vehicle shares the powertrains with its SUV sibling, specifically a 1.5-liter turbo-four rated at 169 PS (167 hp / 124 kW) and its 2.0-liter counterpart good for 221 PS (218 hp / 163 kW). Both use a seven-speed DCT for transmission and come with a choice between FWD and part-time AWD.
