Honda has unveiled the third design iteration of the N-Box, minivan recognized as Japan’s most popular Kei car of 2022. It is now available with a new trim level called Fashion Style.
According to Motor1 quoting JATO Dynamics, the model hit a sales record on the Kei car market last year with more than 202,000 units sold.
In its updated form, the N-Box still looks – well, like a box, but the exterior has been revamped with a more ‘friendly’ appearance in mind. The hood is just as short as before, but the front bumper has been smoothed and rounded and the LED headlights looks almost like eyes, Honda argues. The radiator grille is also different.
The tech-heavier N-Box Custom model ended up with rectangular headlights, a prominent front grille with a unique pattern and new bumper inserts. The new N-Box Fashion Style makes do with Vintage White accents on its wheels and bodywork, but is otherwise little different from its peers.
Honda still advertises the N-Box as being ‘best-in-class’ in terms of available interior space. The steering wheel has been updated along with the nine-inch multimedia display, and an option for a seven-inch digital dash screen has been added to the list for the first time on record. The front panel itself with the transmission lever have been modified, too.
Pre-orders will open later this month.
