Land Rover Discovery becomes a pickup truck

Car tuner VA-K Innovation from Coventry, Mexico, has complemented its portfolio with a Discovery SUV turned into a practicable truck.

The team worked with the fourth generation of the SUV, extending its frame, sawing off some of the body and installing a custom-ordered bed lined with lacquered wood.

A 5.0-liter V8 under the hood corresponds to the top spec and churns out 370 PS (365 hp / 272 kW) along with 510 Nm (376 lb-ft) of torque. The cabin is mostly stock, with the steering wheel missing its OEM airbag for some reason.

The company’s portfolio already includes an extreme Range Rover Sport SVR capable of fast North Loop runs and a Defender SUV outfitted for traveling to the most remote corners of the Earth.
