Menacing Exterior, Tender Heart: Mansory builds another bespoke Range Rover

Aftermarket specialist Mansory has put some custom design touches on the long-wheelbase Range Rover SV, styling it with a rather dark and brooding exterior while ensuring that nothing stays as it was in the cabin. You can already buy it through the company’s official website, but the pricing details are not public.

The first thing that catches attention is a sophisticated black carbon-fiber body kit accompanied by tinted windows and lights all around. The resulting impression is rather menacing, with little besides hubcaps and Mansory logos to hint about the cheerful interior.

A peek inside reveals something completely different. The cabin is trimmed with soft leather of a pale light blue color, and the headliner glows like a starry sky thanks to numerous LEDs, imitating the Rolls-Royce Cullinan. More carbon bits and pieces can be found everywhere you look, and the rear passengers get to sit in particularly comfortable captain’s seats.

Power for the car comes from a 4.4-liter BMW V8 tuned to deliver 600 PS (592 hp / 441 kW) and 835 Nm (616 lb-ft) of torque. Despite its bulk, this Range Rover can hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.5 seconds and doesn’t exhaust its acceleration potential until 280 km/h (174 mph).

Only three units will be made.
