Around a week ago, Lexus has posted an official teaser of the upcoming TX model, and today, we can throw a glance at its pre-production version running road tests in impervious camo.
The official teaser pic revealed enough of the rear end to let us conclude with certainty that the Lexus TX was closely related to the Toyota Grand Highlander, with which it officially shares the platform. Judging by the spy shots, though, there are quie a few distinctions, too. For one, the taillights are different and spread farther to the sides, implying that the quarter-panels are also new.
The front end also looks completely new and reveals a massive radiator grille. The air vents are well-camouflaged, but small light units still protrude through the wrap.
Lexus may introduce its new crossover SUV in the summer or fall.
