Zacoe redefines modern BMW M2 with a styling upgrade
August 21, 2024
Überblick
British car manufacturing company Lotus has released a video dedicated to its very first purely electric hypercar. Following the established tradition of giving its models names beginning with an ‘E’, the company called it the Evija.
Inside the company, the car is referred to simply as the ‘Type 130’. It will ship in a limited series of just 130 units with prices still unannounced. Powering the series is a purpose-built all-electric powertrain capable of producing 1,000 horsepower (745 kilowats) or even more. Rumors say the car will get a 4x4 drive and a battery large enough for at least 400 kilometers (250 miles) of range, but none of this has been confirmed yet.
The Lotus Evija is the British carmaker’s first supercar after a 10-year hiatus. It will celebrate its international premiere in London, England on July 16, 2019, but shipments won’t begin until next year.
