Maserati moves GranTurismo & GranCabrio production

The assembly of the Maserati GranTurismo and GranCabrio will move from Fiat’s Mirafiori industrial complex in Turin, Italy to the brand’s historical homeland of Modena.

The first generations of both cars were made in Modena, but the site was shut down for a major reconstruction in 2019. Maserati partially relaunched it a year later, but hadn’t made any cars there other than the mid-engined MC20. It is only now that the Modena factory is finally ready to resume full-scale production.

The assembly lines are scheduled for launch in Q4 2025.
