In its finest Brabus rendition, the Mercedes-AMG G 63 trucks gains between 800 and 900 horsepower and nearly half a meter (20 inches) of ground clearance. You may have one if you have a spare million euros lying around.
One of the trucks comes finished in white and is called XLP 800 6x6 Adventure. Its stock 4.0-liter V8 TT benefits from a turbo upgrade and a full ECU remap that tweaks ignition, injection and boost pressures. As a result, the wheels get hit with 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft) of torque. The tuned off-roader needs 5.8 seconds to go 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) and only stops accelerating at 210 km/h (130 mph) because of the transmission. It’s a nine-speed automatic, by the way. All six wheels are driven, and the suspension is implemented on a per-wheel basis.
The hardcore XLP 900 6x6 Superblack enjoys an even wider scope of modifications that allow it to slam the crank with 900 PS (888 hp / 662 kW) and 1,250 Nm (922 lb-ft). Once again, the torque gets capped at 1,050 Nm (774 lb-ft) due to the transmission and the top speed stays the same as in the Adventure model above.
Both trucks get a whopping 477 mm (16.8 inches) of ground clearance, frame reinforcements for heavy off-road conditions and deluxe interiors decorated with glossy carbon-fiber bits.
The Adventure spec starts from €1,100,000 before any options, and the Superblack comes at a slight premium – €1,186,000.
