AC Schnitzer showers Mini’s latest Cooper hatchback with options

The tuning specialists over at AC Schnitzer (Germany) have devised a number of aftermarket options for the F66-generation Mini Cooper. The engine stays the same, but nearly everything else has been reworked with eye candy in mind.

To highlight the car on the road, it can be wrapped in a self-adhesive film protecting its rear end from scratches, and equipped with a two-piece roof wing. Further options include front bumper winglets, side skirts and a front splitter – but, as far as we understand, the latter two are only compatible with the John Cooper Works version.

The suspension can be lowered by 20-25 mm (0.8-1”) on both axles. According to the company, it should result in sharper steering feedback and sportier dynamic. While at it, you can grab a set of 19-inch AC1 wheels finished either in black or in two custom colors. If stock wheels are your favorite, consider at least getting 10mm (0.4-inch) wheel spacers to ensure perfect rim alignment, AC Schnitzer says.

The interior makes do with the usual little upgrades, like a custom key holder and aluminum pedal pads. The powertrain is left alone, but the company does offer a custom carbon-tipped exhaust system for it that can enhance the sound.
