Mitsubishi rolls out XFC Concept

At a show in Vietnam, Mitsubishi has unveiled a new compact crossover named the XFC, which targets the Southeast Asian markets. Speaking at the reveal event, Mitsubishi CEO admitted it was still a concept but said he hoped the company would follow up with a full-fledged production car soon.

The Mitsubishi XFC rides high above the ground on large wheels, has its own distinct headlights, T-shaped taillights and a massive screen inside uniting the dashboard and the infotainment system. The front seats and the rear bench inside are trimmed in an unusual combo of grey and yellow.

Regrettably, the company said nothing about the technical specifications of the car. All we know right now is that it will offer four drive modes, one of which – Flooded Roads – has been developed specifically for the region to help drivers efficiently traverse areas experiencing flash floods.
