2025 Toyota Sienna arrives in China

The updated Toyota Sienna minivan costs from 285,000 to 396,000 Yuan on its domestic market, AutoHome reports.

Starting with the AWD petrol spec, it now combines a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with two electric motors mounted one per axle. The engine churns out 189 PS (186 hp / 139 kW) and the motors 54 PS (53 hp / 40 kW) each. By default, all the torque goes to the front end, but up to 80% can be redirected to the rear end if needed.

The dimensions stay basically the same at 5,116 x 1,995 x 1,765 mm with 3,060 mm of wheelbase. The exterior is also largely unchanged except for the headlights, the grille, the bumpers and the wheels.

Inside, the head unit diagonal size has gone up from 8” to 10.3” (12.3” optional). The infotainment system itself has been substantially upgraded with a Snapdragon 8155 chipset, 12 GB RAM and 128 GB of storage space.

The second row is represented by two captain’s seats offering three-way adjustable heating and ventilation functions. The massage feature has been improved with 6 pneumatic pressure chambers built into each headrest and 10 built into each seat back. Every seat is power-adjustable now and has a USB port next to it, a cup holder, a pull-out table and a pocket for the smartphone.
