Roush Performance has momentarily taken its attention away from the Blue Oval to focus on the latest Nissan Frontier, landing it with some nice accessories for moderate off-roading.
The list opens with a bunch of titanium parts, including a skid plate, radiator grille inserts and assorted badging. It also mentions new towing hooks with a Lava Red finish and 17-inch aftermarket wheels wrapped in Hankook Dynapro AT2 Xtreme rubber.
Major changes were made in the suspension department. Here, the tuner offers a full Roush Performance x Ohlins 2.0 Off-Road package complete with upper control arms, new damper bodies and remote-reservoir coilovers. Once upgraded, the Frontier stands 51 mm (2 inches) taller and boasts superior approach and departure angles compared to the original.
It seems that the 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine stayed at its standard 314 PS (310 hp / 231 kW). You can buy your 2026 Nissan PRO-4X R by Roush for approximately $48,000, donor truck included. The main competitor – the Ford Ranger Raptor – starts more than $8,000 above that amount, but brings an extra 100 horsepower along with 200 Nm (148 lb-ft) of extra torque to the table, which can be a game changer for some.
