A unique right-hand-drive 1990 Nissan Skyline GT-R is being auctioned off in the United States right now that its owner brought into the country seven years ago. The car is extensively modded and has around 103,000 km (64,000 mi) under its belt.
The R32 GT-R wears a few Greddy body kit parts along with a bespoke front fascia trim and 18-inch Advan GT Racing wheels shod in Nankang Sportnex AR-1 tires. Overall, it has a distinct JDM look to it.
More aftermarket goodies made it under the metal. These include SPL Titanium tension rods at the ront, ZR1 lowering springs and GT Tech upper control arms. The whole brake system has been replaced for track driving, and the rear-wheel steering was ditched in favor of sharper handling.
The engine also received a complete overhaul and now hits the dyno with more than 500 horsepower, as well as 542 Nm (400 lb-ft) of torque. A new five-speed manual transmission carries the torque to the wheels through a Nismo Super Coppermix dual-plate clutch, and there are ATS Hybrid Carbon LSDs installed on both axles.
