Next-gen Nissan Navara is a rebadged Mitsubishi L200/Triton
According to Andrew Humberstone, Managing Director of Nissan Oceania, the next generation of the company’s Navara truck won’t be an original development.
Instead, it will be based on the same chassis and technology as the Mitsubishi L200/Triton (see gallery and video). It will undergo a major redesign to meet the customers’ expectations, though, Humberstone said.
The new Navara will only debut in late 2026.
