2026 Nissan Pathfinder bows with updated looks, transparent hood and more

Nissan has facelifted the Pathfinder in the United States, landing it with mild exterior updates, improved media technologies and new trim options. The sales remain scheduled for early 2026.

Starting on the outside, a modified radiator grille is the most noticeable change here. Having ditched its thick bezel, the grille is now surrounded with LEDs and sports a new pattern. The bumper has also been revised, and new 20-inch wheels come to replace the old rims. The roof rails are black instead of silver in the higher trim levels.

Opting for the base trim still gets you quite a lot of modern niceties.  These include a new 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen (up from 9 inches), a 15W wireless charger device (up from 5W) and a transparent hood feature. Speaking of the wireless charger, it now comes with a magnet for holding your smartphone firmly in place and a dedicated cooler for faster charging.

Things stay the same under the hood. In the United States, it implies a 3.5-liter V6 rated at 284 PS (280 hp / 209 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. The transmission is nine-speed automatic, and AWD remains available as a premium option.

The new Pathfinder will hit the spotlight at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show.
