The Australian owner of this 1999 Nissan Stagea RS Four S claims his ride is “just a street car”. However, if you take a closer look, you’ll realize it is SO much more than that.
The entire front clip has been redesigned to resemble that of the Nissan R34 Skyline. There are new custom wheels, slightly broader fenders, a rear wing, and reshaped side panels in front and in the rear. There are also carbon louvers on the windows.
It is still under the hood where most of the novelty is, though. The engine bay no longer holds the stock engine and is now occupied by a Nissan VH41 V8 monster motor delivering around 480 hp / 357 kW onto all four wheels.
The Nissan Stagea RS Four S comes equipped with a Haltech drive management system that you can use to switch between AWD and rear drive. The latter option essentially turns the wagon into a drift car.
Now, hit “Play” and have a look at this crazy vehicle burning its tires with each press of the gas pedal.
