Porsche 911 Turbo S goes off-roading under the name of MP Gemballa Marsien

Marc Philipp Gemballa GmbH unveiled its fist production car, a rally coupe named the Marsien with Porsche 911 Turbo S (992) underpinnings and Dakar Rally Porsche 959 looks.

RUF Automobile supplies the 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six for the project, raising its output from 650 PS (641 hp / 478 kW) to 750 PS (740 hp / 552 kW). The torque goes up from 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) to 930 Nm (686 lb-ft). Paying extra unlocks a Stage 2 boost kit and 830 PS (819 hp / 610 kW). Tuned like this, the car makes its 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint in 2.6 seconds, one-tenth of a second faster than stock. It maxes out at 330 km/h (205 mph).

Elsewhere, the Marsien features an Akrapovič titanium exhaust system, height-adjustable suspension for a clearance between 120 and 250 mm (4.7 – 9.8 inches), and two sets of forged aluminum wheels designed for off-roading and tarmac. The PDK transmission benefits from reinforcements here and there.

The car boasts an all-carbon body with original LED headlamps by GERG Lighthouse. The aerodynamic kit has been designed by KLK, a company with 20 years of experience building racecars.

Prices will begin from €495,000 for the conversion alone, donor vehicle not included. A total of 50 units will be made. The 10 Launch Edition units are already sold out, as is most of the rest of the batch.
