Singer unveils its first convertible

A while ago, Singer Vehicle Design decided to switch its attention to producing turbocharged restomods instead of air-cooled ones, like the Porsche 964-based Turbo Study shown in the embedded video here. Now, the company has confirmed its intention to make cabriolets in addition to the usual coupe selection.

The renowned Californian vehicle restorer has shared the first renderings of its next big project, the first droptop on record. Aside from the looks, the car is identical to its coupe counterpart: a 3.8-liter, air-cooled, flat-six twin-turbo drives the wheels with 510 PS (503 hp / 375 kW) through a Hewland six-speed M/T.
