Drag Race: Porsche 911 Turbo S vs. 918 Spyder

Carwow has posted a video showing a tuned Porsche 911 Turbo S going up against a stock Porsche 918 Spyder.

In case you forgot, the Spyder relies on a 4.6-liter naturally aspirated V8 and two electric motors installed one per axle for propulsion. It gets 887 PS (875 hp / 662 kW) and 1,280 Nm (944 lb-ft) of torque out of this system.

The 911 Turbo S lacks the electric component, instead betting it all on a 3.8-liter flat-six turbo with 650 PS (641 hp / 478 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. However, the car in the video was upgraded with a new intercooler and a titanium exhaust system. Along with other mods, its output went up to 888 PS (876 hp / 653 kW) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft).

Do you think the tuned 911 Turbo S has what it takes to outrace the 918 Spyder in a straight line?
