Gunther Werks tackles a more recent Porsche 911 generation now

After many years of only restoring air-cooled Porsche 911 models (see video), Gunther Werks decided to try something different with the new 991 generation sold from 2020 until 2024.

The 911 Turbo seen here wears a complex aero kit known as the GW9. It comprises a redesigned front bumper (two designs available), a front splitter with side winglets, a rear spoiler and side air intake shrouds. All parts are available in glossy or matte, the latter option being slightly more expensive.

For a complete look, customers are invited to consider staggered monoblock wheels sized 20x9” front and 21x12” rear. The magnesium centerlock rims are said to weigh less than OEM aluminum ones, but we were unable to find by how much.

All prices are already on the list. The full GW9 package comes priced at roughly $50,000 with the matte finish, while the wheels add another $16,500 or so. Gunther Werks is also offering numerous aftermarket options for other modern Porsches now, including the all-electric Taycan.
