Another Porsche 911 dream restomod crops up on sale priced over $0.5M

UK tuning company and Porsche restorer Theon Design has rolled out its latest restored and modified 911, priced at the equivalent of U.S. $564,000 before the donor car.

The atelier has spent 18 months working on the coupe. It ended up with a 3.8-liter naturally aspirated flat-6 capable of 407 PS (401 hp / 299 kW) and 397 Nm (293 lb-ft) of torque. With a curb weight as low as 1,150 kilos (2,535 pounds), it should be plenty fast around the corner.

The transmission is five-speed manual and drives the rear wheels as it’s supposed to in a 911. An active-valve exhaust system allows for volume adjustment, and the suspension comes with a lift system for conquering those pesky speed bumps. The brakes are sourced from the 911 (993) Carrera RS, and 18-inch custom wheels come wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires.

As it always the case with Theon Design restomods, this one was stripped down to the frame and rebuilt from the ground up. The owner splurged on all-carbon exterior bodywork, carbon-backed Recaro seats and Alpine audio.
