The Porsche 911 (992) GT3 may be one of the fastest production sports cars on the North Loop, but German tuners from 9FF Engineering still feel that it could use some further performance tweaks.
The intermediate result of the tuning is already here, and it’s called the F92 GTurbo. In this guise, the car churns out 760 PS (750 hp / 560 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque from an engine that revs up to 9,000 RPM. Equipped like this, it bridges the gap between 100 and 200 km/h (62–124 mph) in mere five seconds.
High-pressure turbos, new air intake, cooling and exhaust components, and numerous software tweaks all contribute to this result. The transmission gets upgraded with a more robust clutch rated to withstand the new torque.
You don’t have to source a manual Porsche 911 GT3 for the upgrade – 9FF offers the package for PDK, RS and ST variants of the car as well. Prices start from a cool €50,000. Looking into the future, the company says it hopes to drive the output up to 1,000 horsepower (750 kilowatts).
