Auto-Tuning
German performance tuner HGP Turbonachrüstung generally produces turbo conversion kits for various cars. One of their later projects is this tuning kit for the 2018 Porsche Cayenne S (PO536).
The SUV leaves the factory equipped with a 2.9-liter, twin-turbo I6 engine good for 440 hp (324 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. The HGP Stage 1 kit lifts these values to 555 hp (414 kW) and 794 Nm (586 lb-ft) while also removing the top speed limiter. Those who want even more may opt for the Stage 2 package, which adds larger turbines and rotors for 615 hp (459 kW) and 819 Nm (604 lb-ft) total.
In this video filmed by MotorOli.de, the Porsche Cayenne S HGP Stage 1 runs from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in four seconds flat and hits 200 km/h (124 mph) in mere 14.7 seconds. The standard values are 5.2 s and 19 s, respectively. It then tops out at 290 km/h (180.2 mph), whereas the vanilla Cayenne cannot go above 265 km/h (164.7 mph).
