German tuning company called Friedrich Performance has launched a range of options for the GT4-spec Porsche 718 Cayman, endowing it with better aerodynamics, more power and less weight.
Starting with the main treat, the naturally aspirated four-liter engine now makes 455 PS (449 hp / 335 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque. This is 35 PS (35 hp / 26 kW) and 30 Nm (22 lb-ft) higher than the stock output. As a result, the sports car reaches 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, 200 km/h in another 10 seconds, and maxes out at 305 km/h (189.5 mph).
To help you put all that thrust to good use, the Friedrich-tuned Cayman comes equipped with an active-valve sports exhaust system, staggered wheels sized 20” front and 21” rear, and height-adjustable suspension that you can drop by a maximum of 45 mm (1,8 inches).
Rounding off the tuning is an extensive carbon-fiber body kit said to improve the aerodynamic performance of the already streamlined GT4. The tuner leaves the cabin alone and neglects to mention any pricing details, but you can always find out yourself.
