Supercar-slaying 2009 RUF CTR3 goes on sale

The RUF tuner team caused quite a few ripples back in 2007 when it launched the CTR3, an extreme track tool based on the Porsche Cayman chassis and tech. The tiny coupe had gorgeous looks and packed 700 PS (690 hp / 515 kW) under the hood, which enabled it to outpace many supercars.

This specific example uses a 2009 Cayman chassis, comes in a matte silver body with plentiful mesh-covered air vents and has its stock flat-six engine boosted to 760 PS (750 hp / 559 kW) and 960 Nm (708 lb-ft) of torque.

As a result, the RWD coupe can make 100 km/h (62 mph) in three seconds flat and eventually max out at 380 km/h (236 mph). It has barely more than 2,600 km (1,600 miles) on the counter and goes under the hammer on November 12. The estimate price is unknown.
