The new Renault Kardian is a front-wheel-drive crossover based on an innovative unibody platform suitable for designing various other car types, the manufacturer says.
It is 4,119 mm (160.9 inches) long and has a wheelbase spanning 2,604 mm (101.7 inches). The body is rather tall and wears a plastic body kit with a massive front bumper, a novel radiator grille and stacked headlights.
The interior closely resembles that of the Sandero Stepway with the same climate control panel, a similar-looking steering wheel and the same 8-inch infotainment display. A miniature drive mode selector is provided for gear shifting.
Power comes from a 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine rated at 125 PS (123 hp / 92 kW) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque.
