Skoda Elroq & Enyaq get refreshed for 2027

Both Czech-made EVs sport assorted design improvements, expanded infotainment features and other upgrades envisioned by the automaker’s Simply Clever approach. The production starts this summer.

Buyers of the new Elroq, Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe will take advantage of a digital key fob that’ll let them lock and unlock their cars from their phone app. It will also display such relevant data as battery usage statistics. In turn, the in-car navigation app will help locate the nearest charging stations and will display charging prices.

Tesla fans will appreciate the addition of a one-pedal driving mode to the Elroq and Enyaq lineups. Both EVs can now also power up external appliances using either their own charger cable or a power socket in the trunk. A major update is coming to the infotainment system as well, bringing along a new, more intuitive UI and more customization options.

Skoda also points out ADAS feature improvements across the board and better self-driving. Even in their most basic trim version, the 2027MY Elroq and Enyaq will offer a 25W wireless phone charger pad, USB-C charging ports next to all seats and a 21-liter frunk.
