SsangYong launches 2020 Rexton facelift in South Korea

SsangYong has started sales of its facelifted Rexton SUV/pickup series on the domestic market. Both models received slight changes in exterior design and tech.

You can only tell the 2020 version of the SUV from its predecessor thanks to the new chrome-coated grille with a pseudo-3D effect. The model now lists blind zone monitor and lane control systems under standard equipment and supports remote headlight toggling via the key fob.

The pickup gets to keep its old grille design, but gains new front and rear bumpers (both are now identical to those of the SUV).

Both variants ship with the same 2.2-liter turbo diesel on board, which is good for 187 hp (139 kW).

Prices for a 2020 SsangYong Rexton begin at the equivalent of U.S. $18,000 in South Korea.
