Subaru is back to pretending it has something exciting and mysterious to reveal to us on September 2, 2021, although we have already guessed it’s the Wilderness edition of the Forester SUV.
The teaser video shows various open-air locations including woods, a stony trail, and a snowy expanse. By looking closer, you may just be able to discern a Forester clad in a more rugged-looking body kit with black elements at the front.
In all likelihood, the Wilderness spec will get redesigned bumpers and suspension, more ground clearance, skid plates, and all-terrain tires.
To give you an idea of the price, the standard Outback Wilderness starts from U.S. $36,995. The only option package available for it costs $1,845 and adds a power-assisted sunroof, an 11.6-inch infotainment display with navigation, and automatic braking while reversing.
