Sales of the facelifted Subaru Levorg have started in Japan and will soon begin in Europe, too. The car is the marques first to showcase the new ‘Bolder’ design philosophy – and in indeed does look bolder and edgier than its predecessor.
The refreshed Levorg relies on a new 1.8-liter opposite-four engine rated at 177 hp (132 kW) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque to propel it forward. An all-wheel drive system and a CVT box with ‘manual’ setting deliver the power to the wheels.
The inside benefits from a 11.6-inch multimedia screen in portrait orientation, as well as a digital dashboard, which is included in all trim versions.
Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking and lane control. Among paid option, adaptive cruise control that uses real-time sat-nav data is the biggest highlight.
