A video has cropped up online showing a sports car most likely identified as the Toyota GR GT3. The manufacturer has been testing it on a racetrack, but it is expected to be street-legal, too.
Despite filming from a distance, the operator still managed to capture the main design traits: a long, level hood and a massive rear wing. You can also hear the exhaust system producing a raspy soundtrack not unlike that of a racing V8.
In June this year, the leader of the Toyota WEC team confirmed that the company’s next GT3 racer was being prepped for the 2026 WEC season. He also said that the company was getting a road-worthy variant of it ready for production, and specified that it would be wearing a Lexus badge.
