Drag Race: 800-PS Nissan GT-R vs. 900-PS Toyota Supra

There are many different sports cars in Japan with cult followings of their own, but the Nissan Skyline GT-R and the Toyota Supra probably deserve to be called the most iconic of all. Naturally, the CarWOW team would want to race these two against each other to see which one would come out on top.

Granted, the world has seen too many races between stock cars of this caliber, so neither of the two is stock anymore. The A80 Supra featured in the video underwent major modifications and currently delivers around 900 PS (888 hp / 662 kW) to the rear wheels while weighing 1,650 kilos (3,638 lbs).

The Nissan enjoys a displacement upgrade to 2.8 liters and a power boost to around 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW). While marginally behind its rival in terms of power output, the sports car has AWD and weighs less at 1,560 kg (3,439 lbs).

It was an exciting race to watch, for sure!
