The car announced early this fall as the Project 246 will be officially known as the Volkswagen Tera.

It is slated to become the brand’s cheapest and smallest crossover in the South American lineup. Once it debuts in early 2025, it will compete against the likes of Fiat Pulse and Renault Kardian.

The production will take place in the city of Taubaté, Brazil.
