Reports are coming in that Volkswagen is getting ready to introduce its simplest and most affordable crossover in Brazil.
The company has been producing the Nivus model in the country for a while now (see the gallery below), but the newcomer may end up having an even more basic design and equipment list.
It is so far known under the internal designation “Project 246”. Once out and about, it will have to compete against the likes of the local Fiat Pulse and Renault Kardian.
The premiere date remains unannounced.
