Acura has shared a couple of images and a video of the upcoming Integra Type S, letting us see some of its exterior design traits without cladding and hear its exhaust system in action.
Despite being based on the Honda Civic Type R and its engine, the Integra Type S will be marginally more powerful on its domestic market. In the USA, the Civic mentioned above produces 315 horsepower, while the Integra will output 320 hp. The transmission will be six-speed manual.
As far as one can guess, the performance liftback also sports new flared fenders, an aero kit, a fresh set of rims and carbon-fiber accents all around.
The premiere remains set for April.
