ABT dials up the heat on the Audi S8 & SQ8 range

German tuning shop ABT Sportsline has released the technical specifications of the upgrades it recently added to its stock for the facelifted Audi S8 lineup. The range-topping SQ8 TFSI is especially impressive with 650 PS (641 hp / 478 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque.

If your S8 has 340 metric PS as standard (335 hp / 250 kW), then you can lift the output to 408 PS (402 hp / 300 kW) using the ABT Power S package. If you have 489 PS (482 hp / 360 kW) to begin with, you can buy an upgrade to 557 PS (550 hp / 410 kW).

The part-electric Q8 55 TFSIe can be boosted from 394 PS (389 hp / 290 kW) to 462 PS (456 hp / 340 kW). The diesel-guzzling 50 TDI also gets a solid 44-horsepower boost for a new high of 330 PS (325 hp / 243 kW).

The torque gain amounts to 70 Newton-meters (52 pound-feet) for the SQ8 flagship and 50 Nm (37 lb-ft) for the rest of the lineup.

In its usual fashion, ABT also stocks assorted body kit parts for all these cars, a slew of different-looking wheel options, and some minor interior goodies. The latter include pedal pads, a gear lever trim, and “carbon-fiber” details for the seats.
