Dubai tuner jury-rigs a BMW M3 (E46) Touring out of two cars

Slick Custom Auto, a car customization shop found in Dubai, UAE, took hold of a BMW 325i Touring and swapped its engine and suspension with those borrowed from a genuine M3. The result is a production-looking car with outstanding parameters.

The Bavarian automaker hadn’t produced a true M3 Touring until 2022. It did design a one-off concept wagon like that based on a normal E46 coupe back in 2000, but that one had stayed secret until 2016. Someone must have wanted a true M estate, so they ordered the conversion.

The 325i received the iconic S54 six-pot along with the entire suspension system of the E46 M3, as well as a manual transmission instead of automatic. The attention to detail is staggering: the rearview mirrors, the fenders, the seats, the steering wheel and most of the décor stem from the M Parts catalog. The front bumper begs to be a little different with a lower apron like on the rare M3 CSL.

If you compare the build with the BMW M3 Touring Concept, you will realize just how well-made it is. It looks like an actual production car and could pass for one if it weren’t for some small details, like wheels and brake calipers, standing out.

The cost of the conversion has never been revealed.
