The Bugatti Divo Lady Bug is as extreme as bespoke hypercars get

When Bugatti unveiled the Divo two and a half years ago, the special batch of 40 Chiron-based hypercars paying homage to racing legend Albert Divo sold out in minutes. Due to extremely complex production process, however, shipments did not start until August 2020, and the last unit – the most elaborate of all – only rolled off the line now.

Called the Bugatti Divo Lady Bug, it was created against an order of a car collector from the USA. Graphic design and painting alone took a year and a half, leaving the manufacturer with a new color in its inventory, called Customer Special Red. A special full body wrap was also applied with 1,600 diamond-shaped cells.

Powering the ride is an eight-liter W16 fitted with quad superchargers and capable of 1,500 metric horsepower (1,479 hp / 1,103 kW). The top speed lies as high up as 380 km/h (236 miles per hour).

The remaining Bugatti Divos will finally reach their anxious owners within the next two months. Prices start from €5 million before all options and customization requests.
