The 2022 Buick Century has been on sale for more than a year without any entry-priced options, but there are two to choose from now.
The first one is counterintuitively named Luxury and starts from just $64,000 in the USA. It sports a different exterior design with simpler head- and taillights, bumpers at both ends, and radiator grille.
Then there is the $71,000 Avenir spec that shares the exterior design with the range-topping Avenir six-seater, but has seven seats inside.
The seven-seat vans still retain two individual seats in the second row complete with footrests, ventilation and massage functions. The back row has been replaced with a sofa for three. With the seat backs raised, the trunk size is rather modest at 604 liters (21.3 cubic feet). Folding the seats and pushing them forward as far as they can go will get you 1,901 liters (67.1 cubic feet).
Things stay stock under the hood. Like their upmarket alternatives, the Buick Century Luxury and Avenir rely on an electrified 2.0-liter turbo four-pot to drive the wheels with 237 PS (234 hp / 174 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque.
