Chery has revealed the specifications of its Arrizo 8 Hybrid sedan set to so on sale in China under the revived Fengyun badge. Apparently, it offers 107 km (66.5 miles) of electric range.
The car relies on a 1.5-liter engine rated at 156 PS (154 hp / 115 kW) and an electric motor to drive the wheels through a single-range DHT gearbox. It needs 7.6 seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) and cannot exceed 185 km/h (115 mph).
With its gas tank and battery full, the car can cover up to 1,400 kilometers (870 miles) per charge using 4.2 liters of fuel per 100 km on average. That’s almost exactly 56 miles per gallon.
The Arrizo 8 first appeared at the Shanghai Motor Show earlier this year, but the detailed specifications haven’t been revealed until today. Compared to its ICE version, the hybrid sports redesigned bumpers and grille, as well as a new steering wheel with capacitive buttons.
