Ferrari 812 Superfast replacement spied testing in production body

The successor to the iconic Ferrari 812 Superfast has been repeatedly spotted running around as a test mule hiding new hardware under Ferrari Roma body (check out the videos for those sightings). Today is the first time we can have a look at the supercar’s own bodywork.

Granted, the wrap looks impervious, but it is only logical to expect from a Ferrari car in its next design stage. Note the fairly large air vents at the front end that the Roma doesn’t have. As for the rear end, it appears to a work in progress, judging by the missing trim around the twin tailpipes.

Note also the lack of the mandatory yellow stickers that all electrified vehicles in Europe are supposed to be tested with. To us, this looks like a rather clear indication that Ferrari’s next supercar is shaping to be one of its last models in production to use a non-electrified V12.

Since the production-body testing has only just begun, we would advise against looking forward to a quick reveal. More likely than not, Ferrari will take its time with the model before finally unveiling it.
