Fiat has introduced a new microcar for which it resurrected the nameplate ‘Topolino’, which was the nickname of the first-gen Fiat 500. It its modern incarnation, the car is a tweaked Citroen Ami.
Actually, to do it justice, the changes are big and numerous. There is a brand-new plastic body kit styled in a retro vein, which makes the Topolino 125 mm (5 inches) longer than the Ami.
Also, unlike the Ami, the Fiat microcar has a Beach trim version with ropes for doors and a roll of cloth for the top.
Powering the ride is an electric motor rated at 8.2 kilowatts (11 horsepower). A full charge will take you as far as 75 kilometers (46.6 miles) under optimal conditions.
