Back in April, Hennessey Performance launched a comprehensive upgrade program for the GMC Sierra AT4. The first pickup to leave the Texan tuner’s workshop was finished in a utilitarian black, but we’d argue that this new Coastal Dune example wins the most style points.
As one would expect from Hennessey, the team has reworked nearly every aspect of the truck rather than just slapping on a body kit and an ECU tune and calling it a day. The suspension was rebuilt on superior components, the ground clearance was increased, the bumpers were replaced with aftermarket versions optimized for off-road driving, and 20-inch wheels shod in 35-inch tires slotted into the arches. A cat-back exhaust system with black finishers appeared in the back.
However, it’s always the engine that’s at the center of attention of every Hennessey build these days, and this AT4 is no exception. Powered by a 6.2-liter V8 equipped with a new supercharger and a superior air-to-water intercooler, it sends a healthy 710 PS (700 hp / 522 kW) to the wheels while exerting up to 828 Nm (611 lb-ft) of torque.
Interior updates are seemingly limited to embroidered headrests, all-weather floor mats with Hennessey branding, and some more special badging all around.
Orders for the Goliath 700 AT4 are already being processed. Only V8 trucks are admitted for the upgrade, though – the 3.0-liter turbo diesel variant is not eligible.
