Vinile rolls out a €0.3M+ Range Rover restomod series

A particularly flamboyant Range Rover Classic just debuted in Maranello, Italy. Styled by the tuning company Vinile to resemble vehicles from the 1970s, it received a mild engine tune, a modest exterior restoration and a gorgeous all-new interior. Only 15 units will be made and offered starting from a cool €310,000.

The company calls the project a “remaster” in a nod to the modern practice of audio companies re-recording music from master tapes and vinyl discs to ensure top playback quality on modern devices. Much in the same manner, the Range Rover seen here stays true to its original design while benefitting from subtly reshaped doors, side sills and body kit parts. It also sports a 3D radiator grille and LED lighting all around, but you’ll have to look closely to spot them. The rear end flaunts a diffuser-like attachment along with a spoiler, and the trunk area is lined with Alcantara and poplar wood.

Then there’s the interior, which makes use of whopping 45 square meters (484+ square feet) of Baxter fine leather in a combination of light beige and mint green. Poplar accents can be found wherever you look, there is an added console on the ceiling above the driver, and the dashboard is digital. There’s even a dedicated niche in the dash for a wristwatch that the driver can use to keep track of the time without taking hands off the wheel.

While the Range Rover shown here is a five-seater, Vinile has plans for both five- and three-seat versions. All customers are free to order extensive personalization, meaning no two SUVs will ever be the same unless explicitly ordered as such by the same owner.
